My High Energy Decalogue (Part 1)

The 10 Commandments for Consistently High Energy Levels

When I realized that I need more productive hours during the day to cope with my demanding schedule I started studying peak performers like Tony Robbins and nutrition experts like David Wolfe and how they achieve consistently high energy levels.

Within one month the results were transformational. I could not believe that certain actions could lead to such dramatic change in my energy levels.

However, over time, I started tilting from my “rules” (I am sure you’ve been there too My High Energy Decalogue (part 1) )

So I decided to come up with the 10 most important actions that would make the greatest impact on my energy without worrying about going pro on this.

MY HIGH ENERGY DECALOGUE (1-5)

1) Power-breathing

I got this from Tony Robbins and it works wonders. 3 times a day you simply take 10 breaths in a 1/4/2 ratio. For example inhale 2 seconds, keep for 8 seconds and exhale in 4 seconds. Change the multiplier to fit your lung capacity but don’t stress yourself. This will INSTANTLY detoxify your body.

2) Alkalizing Superfood Breakfast

Ageing is directly related to a toxic environment. An alkaline body can stop or even reverse ageing and any form of wear in the body. So the first thing I do every morning is make sure I get plenty of alkaline “points” to ALWAYS stay on the positive side.

Action #1

I drink a glass of water with half squeezed lemon, a pinch of Himalayan salt and a pinch of cayenne pepper (many thanks David Wolfe for that). Lemon is highly alkaline, salt will make sure fluids are held in your body enough so that the nutrients will be absorbed and the pepper will get things moving My High Energy Decalogue (part 1)

Action #2

My Super Cool SuperFood breakfast (if that won’t make you jump up and down till midnight nothing will!!) including:

  • A teaspoon of wheatgrass
  • 2  teaspoons of maca
  • 1 teaspoon of Fo-Ti (Chinese root powder)
  • 1 teaspoon of Spirulina
  • 1 teaspoon of Chlorella
  • a pinch of guarana

3) Rev-up With Rebounding

If you still feel a bit sleepy or whenever your energy goes down stand up and do a minute (yes 60 seconds is all it takes) of rebounding. Jump up and down softly, this is not an exercise to join the body building contest. This will activate your lymphatic system, accelerate detoxification and drive your heart rate and energy straight up. If you want to empower the process even more, this is a good time for your affirmations.

4) Drink Water Regularly

Water is life. Drinking a glass of water regularly, literally refuels your body. Tony Robbins suggests, you want to drink 1 litter of water for every 25 kilos of your body weight (for my Imperial System friends that’s half your body weight in ounces).

5) Raw Salad lunch

Have you ever felt drained after a meal? Well, it wasn’t until I learned from David Wolfe that some foods are energy negative that I realized why this was happening to me. This simply means that it takes more energy to digest a meal than the energy the meal gives you!)

Have a rich green salad of your preference for lunch and actually notice that you will feel empowered again rather than drained and sleepy.

Tomorrow, I will be releasing the last 5 tips for peak energy levels.
