On January 15th 2009 Captain Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger was forced to land the US Airways plane on the Hudson river after a dual engine failure.
All 155 on board came out safe.
When Sully was commenting later on this remarkable feat he said “for 42 years I’ve been making small regular deposits in this bank of experience…“.
Your whole life consists of unnumbered deposits of experience:
- Your successes and failures
- the stories you learned from your grandfather, a war veteran or a savvy entrepreneur
- the insights you received from a seminar, a book, or your daily inspresso right here
What you are called upon now, is to fuse all these deposits of experience into your revised action plan and withdraw clarity and confidence!
